Company Profile

Fitz Software & Co. was established in Mallow (Ireland) in 1991 as a trading group for MVS (z/OS) system products and services, with particular emphasis on systems availability, IT asset management, database productivity and application life cycle products/projects. After continued success and growth in the U.K. and German markets, offices were established in Crosshaven (Ireland) and London (U.K.) and the business was incorporated in 1994 under the name Fitz Technologies Ltd., but continues to trade under the name Fitz Software & Co. With the support and backing of the IDA (Industrial Development Authority, established by the Irish Government to facilitate the development of Irish-based industry), Fitz Technologies Ltd. has joined the unique group of companies granted a special package of incentives, support facilities, and status of International Services in Software. Fitz Software Services, established in 1999, offers customers a specialised, integrated solution to enterprise-wide asset management issues.

Fitz Software specialises in software localisation and customisation. Products are focused on the IBM mainframe z/OS (OS/390, MVS) & VSE platforms and distributed systems arena (Unix, Windows, Netware, OS/2, MAC, ...) and the company offers central and program services to all licensed users of its program offerings. Other available services include on-site and in-house technical support, project management, development, installation, customisation, and training. Fitz Software and its suppliers have a 24-hour telephone answering service available.

The company markets the products through offices in Ireland, England and Germany, predominantly through tele-sales but also via trade shows, user group conferences, trade missions, and user-forums sponsored by Fitz Software. Our marketing and distribution area covers the United Kingdom and Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and the Benelux. Perpetual licenses are offered on all products. Demos or trials are available on all products to potential customers. Current price schedules are available on all products on request.
