Cork airport is 15-20 minutes drive from the airport and one would expect to pay not more than £20 / €25 for a taxi fare. There are always plenty of taxis at the airport. There is no direct bus route to Crosshaven from the airport. (By bus you'd need to go from the airport to Cork city bus depot (about £3 / €5) and then from there to Crosshaven (about £2.30 / €5)). Crosshaven village has a population of a little over 1300 people but has seven pubs and four restaurants (RCYC, The Schooner, Cronins & The Anchor).

The GSE-LSUG meeting on 22 September will be held in the RCYC (Royal Cork Yacht Club) in Crosshaven village. You'll find  info on the RCYC and the recent Ford-Cork-Week on the internet www.royalcork.com.

"Crosshaven Cabs" telephone number is 00-353-21-4832138 (Prop. Kevin O'Rourke).
