Tangram Launches the Market's First
Unified IT Asset Management Solution

Unified Insight Solution Leverages New Product Enhancements
 in Asset Insight 5.0 and Enterprise Insight 4.0

San Diego, CA - February 3, 2003 - Tangram Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: TESI), a leading IT asset management provider, today announced the market's first and only fully unified IT asset management solution at META Group's METAmorphosis PLUS! Conference & Showcase in San Diego.  The unified Insight solution automatically links and reconciles the physical IT asset information tracked by Asset Insight® with the financial and contractual information managed by Enterprise Insight®, delivering a single, holistic view of all enterprise IT assets from a common user interface, without the need for costly and difficult-to-use data integrations.

The Technology Behind The Unified Insight Solution
The unified Insight solution is powered by the IntelliMatcher, a Web-based tool that automatically links and reconciles the thousands of IT assets discovered by Asset Insight (e.g., installed software, software usage, hardware, configurations, etc.) with the asset information "on the books" in Enterprise Insight (e.g., software licenses, maintenance and warranty contracts, leasing agreements, etc.), without data import or export.  This reconciliation process utilizes unique asset attributes, such as serial number, to create matches between assets.  The unified asset information is then readily available for viewing via the extensive reporting capabilities shared by Asset Insight and Enterprise Insight.

Further Enhancements to Asset Insight 5.0 and Enterprise Insight 4.0
In addition to the far-reaching business benefits of the unified Asset Insight / Enterprise Insight solution, Tangram has also introduced several new product enhancements that address the evolving needs of the customer, including:

      -- Full Web-based reporting capabilities, including in-depth asset drill-down and active audit functionality from Asset Insight, Enterprise Insight, and the unified Insight solution.

      -- More comprehensive network device discovery, facilitating the proactive inventory and management of all devices that generate or receive network traffic (e.g., printers, routers, hubs, switches, etc.), with no incremental demands on network resources.

      -- Highly granular Web-based security for managing user access to information stored in the shared Asset Insight / Enterprise Insight asset repository.

      -- Enhanced Asset Insight discovery capabilities, including the detection of monitor serial numbers, USB-connected devices, and video cards on Windows and Macintosh machines.

      -- Support for Web Services, an emerging standard that enables Web applications, such as Asset Insight and Enterprise Insight, to seamlessly share information with other third-party Web applications.

      -- A host of new IT asset management services designed to assist organizations in maximizing their return on technology investments, including robust planning and implementation services, upgrade assistance, and IT asset management best practices consulting.
