ZIP/390
- Utilises open standard compression formats
(e.g. ZIP/GZIP) and encryption methods (e.g. AES / ZIP keyword) insuring interoperability
with other ZIP/GZIP enabled programs on other platforms (e.g. WinZIP, PKZIP, Windows/XP
zip folders, ..). The IpBridge/Connect Zip-Server feature enables faster transfers
with less mainframe overhead and support for additional compression & encryption
options. Built in FTP & email communications.

FileMarvel
- Use FileMarvel to look at and maintain
any kind of dataset - VSAM, SAM, UNIX, BDAM or source (e.g Program, JCL) in
a PDS. ISPF's edit and file manipulation utilities' emphasis is on source
files; FileMarvel specifically addresses data files. FileMarvel uses the
familiar ISPF interface to provide browsing, editing, reformatting, merging,
copying, printing, sorting and defining datasets. It handles file
organizations and record sizes not supported by ISPF, even tape data sets.

Intersession
is a modern 3270 session manager for mainframes
that gives all users secure, fast and convenient access to their
applications. After logging on the user is presented with a menu of
authorized applications and also gives the users
Single Sign-On access. InterSession
supports all current IBM mainframe operating systems (z/OS,
VSE and VM), and all VTAM application host systems (i.e. CICS, TSO, IMS,...).
The TN3270 support supports all current IBM TCP/IP stacks
and TCPaccess from CA (Interlink Computer Sciences).
InterSession comes with migration tools to help you migrate from old
session managers such as Net/Master
and TPX.
ADS -
Advanced Debugging System
for CICS is an interactive debugging, testing and monitoring
program for CICS (under z/OS &
z/VSE) applications written in Assembler, PL/1, C and all
versions of COBOL. ADS helps you to uncover hidden storage violations, coding errors and
design flaws and you can ensure programs adhere to CICS standards before they go into
production and rapidly track down even intermittent errors in existing applications. Even
your most junior programmer can be a debugging expert in a day.
Dignus:
Dignus provides an IBM compatible HLASM and C++, C
compiler which allow developers to offload a major part of their mainframe
compiling (e.g. z/OS, zLinux, BS2000, TPF, Unix flavours, Windows, Linux.)
without source modifications. These compilers allow you to compile, assemble
and link locally on your workstation and create objects, which link on the
mainframe.
Many major large scale software development companies now use Dignus to save
hard dollars on machine upgrades and human
resource costs while improving compile time
dramatically.
Features: XP link, CICS pre-processor,
DB2 pre-processor, Local
Linker, Direct call, IBM Compatible.
DDI / (Dynamic Data
Interface /
DataSwitch) is the intelligent middleware for
Euro and other major conversions or application upgrades requiring
batch/online data changes, which
also permits access by MQ-SERIES. Without further changes to programs,
DDI allows the converted program through a simple JCL change to access the program files
of pre and post conversion, i.e. different file lengths and data descriptions of archived,
current, and future file formats. This allows the converted programs of the new world to
continue to communicate with the data of the old world (and visa versa). It also allows
you to take files (including those with multiple record types) and expand them into new
pre-defined formats, inserting new data as required, also permitting data exchange such as
Date Ageing.
HOTCOPY
- Modern data processing environments like data warehouses, mobile
computing, internet-commerce, data migration and high-availability all require an adequate
mechanism when being synchronized. In this day and age the time is not simply available
for a replication batch window and to transfer large data by ftp into remote databases.
This is no longer considered to be efficient because in such a way data are provided
neither timely nor consistent. Companies will continue to need an opportunity to propagate
data changes from legacy systems like IMS, CICS and VSAM to databases on OS/390, OS/400,
Unix, and NT. This needs to be done immediately, fast, without restrictions in the use of
the central systems and not endangering data integrity. this is achieved with HOTCOPY.
ACM
- Avoid Currency Mix. This will induce the conversion of the local currency to
target (e.g. EURO) data and programs.
Then, both data and programs from both currencies will be present. However, this gives
rise to the danger that the "wrong" programs access the "wrong" data. ACM is needed!
DataConverter: These convertors using
DDI technology automate the rules process for source to target state using pre-existing
file/table definitions, and enhance ordinary utilities like IEBGENER, REPRO and
Unload/Reload to tranform them to data conversion tools.
D-SECT: Enables a programmer to generate
consistently chained test data using SQL, even for non-relational datasets. Test data
generator for integrated systems capturing your programs calls dynamically to DB2, IMS,
VSAM & PS data structures.

P-TRACKER -
Monitors all program and subprogram calls under OS/390 or z/OS. It
covers all environments: batch, IMS/DC, CICS and other sub-systems. Using P-Tracker, one
can focus in on usage of modules, datasets and products/licenses and determine the chained
calls at sub-program level. One can quickly and easily identify products that are unused,
under-used, duplicated or scattered. Automatically records every load module execution on
the system, including sub-system level when required. A Load Module Analyser is also
available to determine module attributes.
